TYPES OF TOURISM

There are many purpose for what peoples travel. Some people travel for spending their holidays,some for research, some for understanding and learning culture and history of a particular place. Tourism is also categorized according  to the tourists purpose of visit. Some of them are listed as below:

1)  Cultural Tourism : Cultural tourist travel places for knowing different culture of a country. These  tourists loves knowing other culture and their religious activities




2)  Historical Tourism : Historical tourists are the tourist who likes researching about old history of a particular country. They research the whole history of the country and travel those historical places to know more about them by doing praticals.

3)  Recreational Tourism : These tourists love finding new things which are not yet discovered. They use to travel many parts of an area inorder to find a new discovery. They usually travel in a big mass.

4)  Sports Tourism : Sports tourists travel to know about the sporting of a particular place or a country, usually sport tourists travel to play in a particular club of a place or an country or to become a coach of a club or the whole national team.

5)  Mass Tourism : These tourists loves to travel in mass/group which is usually comfortable for them to travel in mass for them.

6)  Individual Tourism : These peoples love travelling alone. They usually donot travell with many peoples but they like travelling in a couple.

7)  Pleasure Tourism : Peoples get frusted from their daily work and their daily routined activities. So the pleasure tourism are those tourists who travel to get refreshed from their daily workload and get some pleasure.

8)  Business Tourism : Some people travel for business purposes from one country to another such types of tourists are also known as business tourism.

9)  Adventure Tourism :Adventure tourism usually loves advantures like travelling hills, mountaineering, rock climbing, rafting, bungee jumping etc and many other adventurers acts, they love going to hills, travelling forests,jungles and spending night at forest which are usually fun for them.

10) Eco Tourism  : Eco tourists travel investigating about the geological as well as ecological structure of a particular place or a whole country.
